Perfectly placed at the edge of the new South Waterfront District on Portland's serene Willamette River, this luxury boutique hotel and spa basks in the glow of the city's lights. The Avalon surrounds guests in the contemporary sophistication and warm hospitality of the Pacific Northwest. The 9000 square-foot (840 square-meter) facility accommodates 11 treatment rooms for dry and wet therapies, separate relaxation lounges for men and women, sauna, Jacuzzi, and a retail boutique. One floor above the spa is the hotel's 2000 square-foot (190 square-meter) health club facility. Hotel guests and club members enjoy a wide array of group classes, interval circuit training, the state-of-the-art Kinetic Analysis, and Personal Training sessions.

Nourish exclusively utilizes the couture June Jacobs Spa Collection, a comprehensive range of highly effective plant-based products for face and body that address all skin concerns. Using only the finest herbal extracts and botanicals from around the world, June Jacobs offers the most effective formulations to soothe, rejuvenate, and pamper the skin—and the senses. Nourish therapists select a specific product blend and therapeutic approach to match the client’s individual skincare needs.
Guests also complete a brief spa therapy questionnaire which is used to access core conditions currently impacting the skin, body, and well-being to define targeted therapeutic solutions for optimum results.
